Dentate exists so that what a person or an organization knows can be kept: permanent, sovereign, and provable, for as long as it matters.
Records used to hold.
Today, decisions live in chat threads that expire, documents that get overwritten, and tools that sunset with their vendors. More thinking is being produced than ever, and less of it survives in a form anyone can rely on later.
Knowledge you cannot stand behind is knowledge you effectively lost.
So we build a record built to outlast everything that reads it. Every entry stays exactly as it was written. The record lives on infrastructure its owner controls, and any entry can be verified by anyone the owner chooses, without taking our word for it.
It is complete on its own. Any model can connect to it, and every one of them is replaceable. The record is the constant.
Three properties, held at every scale: one person, one team, one organization.
- permanent
- Entries are never overwritten and never silently changed. What was written stays exactly as written, dated, with decades as the design target.
- sovereign
- The record lives where its owner decides: a dedicated tenant for people and teams, your own infrastructure at enterprise scale. Either way, it answers to you and no one else.
- provable
- Any entry can be shown to a third party and verified as unchanged since the day it was sealed. Trust in the record never requires trust in us.
